This mod also contains a little device called “the red stone divider”, which, as it name suggests, breaks up red stones. With some creativity, they can be used with the conveyor belts mod and spark a new industrial revolution.

The mod’s designer, Mighty pork (lovely name, by the way!), definitely deserves an online applause for his effort.

Installation instructions

1. Download mod.

2. Go to your start menu, then select “run” and type”%appdata%”.

3. In the new window that should pop up, find your “.minecraft” folder and open it, then go to the “mods” subfolder.

4. Drag and drop your mod in there. No unzipping is needed.

The turret resembles a thick crossbow laid on a chest, which is where your ammunition is stored.

How can I control the turret?

Installation instructions

1. Download the Turret mod’s zip file.
2. Navigate to your .minecraft\bin folder
3. Backup your minecraft.jar file
4. Open minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7Zip
5. Install ModLoader and AudioMod, if not already installed
6. Delete META-INF folder inside the minecraft.jar archive.
7. Open the mod’s zip and copy everything contained in a folder named “Content in Minecraft.jar” into your minecraft.jar file
8. Save and close minecraft.jar.
9. Go to the resources folder in .minecraft folder
10. Copy all contents of the “Content in resources” folder of your mod’s zip file into resources folder that resides in your .minecraft folder.

The Clay Soldier mod lets you build a soldier out of pure clay. And according to their colors, the soldiers will enter into war. Read on to find out how the soldiers are crafted, and what the main features of the mod are.

Your soldiers’ color is determined by the chosen dyes at the top of the screen. Soldiers can fight against each other, whilst you oversee the battle and help your side win by supplying them with necessary items. The Tale of Kingdoms mod is an adventure RPG-themed mod that hopes to bring an entirely new dimension to your game. The mod puts you in the role of a King who has to fight hostile mobs and eventually found and raise his own settlement, town or city. This mod also contains some ‘proving grounds’, where you must prove your skills as a guild master. This is meant to establish that you are worthy of founding and running your own kingdom.

The mod further adds various new Non Player Characters (NPCs).

This mod is still a work in progress (WIP) and can only get better in the next versions, however it is already playable and a lot of fun indeed.

Installation instructions for Tale of Kingdoms Mod

1. Download and install ModLoader
2. Download the Tale of the Kingdom mod
3. Locate and open your minecraft.jar file. It can be found in {System drive}:\Users\{username}\Appdata\roaming\.minecraft\bin.
4. Delete the Meta Inf directory from the open archive.
5. Drop Modloader files into the open archive.
6. Run Minecraft to ensure it works okay.
7. Drag and drop the mod’s files into Minecraft.jar as well.

This is a mod that helps you farm trees. It was created by someone who got sick and tired of having to chop down trees in order to get charcoal for his steam engines in the build craft mod. This mod attempts to turn tree farming into an easy task, while keeping a balance so that it does not become overpowered. The full functionality of the mod can be achieved if it’s used in conjunction with the build craft mod, as this is the only way to get a fully automated tree farm.

The three primary goals of this mod are to create an automated tree farm, to provide an additional energy source (namely, charcoal) for building and industrial crafting, and to also create other automated farms, such as wheat farms.

1. Locate your minecraft.jar file (under Users\{username}\Appdata\roaming\.minecraft\bin) and back it up just in case something does not go according to plan.

Better Caves and More Mod Features

This mod adds mud along with some interesting cave creatures, like bats and cave salamanders. Mines are also added, but this feature has been incorporated in Minecraft version 1.8. Mud can be found in biomes of the swamp type and will slow you down when you try to walk over it, pretty much like slow sand. The mod also adds some more features to increase the “eye candy” factor of Minecraft, like icicles in snowy places.

In short, this is a great mod to give a new dimension to your Minecraft cave adventures.

Humans Plus Mod Features

Apart from the NPCs, this mod also adds twenty new items, including new faction flags, new swords, food and much more. For example, if you raise the flag of a faction on a wall in your base, NPCs of that faction will begin to spawn. If you are on good terms with a particular faction, they will assist you, and if you’re on neutral terms with a faction, they will seek contact with you.

This mod also brings horses into the game, which can be mounted and ridden by the player or the NPCs. More fish are also available and can be fished for, just like in vanilla Minecraft. Faction leaders also spawn in their faction at random; they are stronger, have more health points and can be recognized by their leader cape. This mod comes with 70 different textures for the human characters, which are chosen randomly when they spawn.

1. Back up your minecraft.jar, so that you can fall back on it if something goes wrong.
2. Install ModLoader and AudioMod
3. Download the mod and copy its files into Minecraft.jar (to be found in {System Drive}:\Users:\{username}\Appdata\Roaming\.minecraft).
4. The resources folder in your mod’s zip file should be merged with the resources subfolder in the open jar file.
5. Delete META-INF from your minecraft.jar and close the .jar archive.

Designed by scokeev9, the Premium wood mod adds new tree types, which make for quite an experience when harvested. It’s not just the colors that change, it’s what you can do with wood; every wood type can now be crafted as swords, and the attributes of the raw material are different too. Below you can see the main differences.

Premium Wood Mod Features

• Maple tree: orange&black color.
• Sliver bell tree: white&green color.
• Magic trees: Exercise caution when planting, as there is a decent possibility of them exploding in your face. Their leaves are green but their wood is black.
• Purple heart trees: As its name implies, this one is purple. Planks made out of these change color over time.
• Wood bordered glass: This makes for a nice visual effect. Put a piece of glass in the middle of your crafting table, and surround it from both sides with the plank of your choice.

Premium Wood Download and installation instructions

• As a preventative measure, backup the contents of your .minecraft folder which can be found by typing %appdata%\.minecraft in the run prompt of your Start menu.
• Download and install ModLoader and Scot Tools API. Before proceeding to the next step, do a test run to make sure your game works properly at this stage.
• Download the Premium woods mod.
• Open the mod’s zip file and add the files contained in the “add to minecraft.jar” folder into your minecraft.jar file. The latter is located in .minecraft\bin (see step 1) and can be opened with a compression utility.
• Have fun playing and please report any problems with the mod!

The shelves resemble stairs made of wood, and your items appear on top if they contain things. The only issue is that they can only display items in a 3×3 format, which means you can put 9 items on display, so it is recommended that you showcase the most valuable ones or the ones that you use most often. In the end it is a matter of personal preference, but this mod is a neat addition to Minecraft.
